Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrived in Ukraine

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has arrived in Ukraine to participate in the Carpathian Integration Initiative summit. During his visit, he plans to have a personal meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
This is reported by the Polish publication RMF24 .
Tusk said that his visit should demonstrate Poland’s support for Ukraine: “I really wanted our Ukrainian friends to see that Poland is with them,” said the Polish Prime Minister.
According to him, the coming months will be difficult, so it is necessary to show solidarity with Ukraine.
Tusk is also scheduled to meet with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
Tusk noted that he had received reports of intensive Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure and industry. He called Russia’s position aggressive and said that the war of economic destruction was entering a decisive phase.
Separately, the Polish Prime Minister drew attention to the attacks near the border with Poland. He stressed the need to be prepared for the possible flight of drones or missiles into the territory of NATO countries on the eastern flank.
