Poltava region comes under attack from Russia: Russians hit a railway, one person injured

On the night of September 17, several sections of the railway were knocked out of power as a result of a Russian attack in the Poltava region. Passenger trains are being delayed, and one person was injured.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia and the head of Poltava OVA Volodymyr Kohut .
In the Myrhorod district, the occupiers struck the railway infrastructure. The shelling caused fires, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. One person was injured.
Due to power outages in some areas, backup locomotives had to be brought in. As of 07:00, power has been restored, but some trains are delayed by up to 3 hours.

No. 63/111 Kharkiv, Izyum – Lviv
No. 64/112 Lviv – Kharkiv, Izyum
No. 791 Kremenchuk – Kyiv
Ukrzaliznytsia assures that all trains, including suburban trains, will continue to operate as usual after the situation stabilizes.
As a reminder, on the night of September 16-17 , the railway infrastructure was damaged as a result of another shelling by Russian troops .
As reported, in the Vasylivka district of the Zaporizhia region , Russian troops used an FPV drone to strike civilian transport.
In addition, on the morning of September 17, Russian aircraft struck the village of Inhulets, in the Darivska community of Kherson region, with a guided bomb. The attack injured three adults and a three-year-old girl.
