Petro Poroshenko announced the launch of a new project for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Poroshenko Foundation, together with volunteers from the NGO “Delo Hromad,” has contracted a large batch of buggies for military transport on the front lines. Currently, 180 units have been purchased for a total of UAH 45 million.

The first ten buggies are already being prepared for dispatch to units.

“The enemy is striking Ukraine. Shopping centers, warehouses, and logistics facilities. And the worst thing is that Russian missiles and drones are killing Ukrainians. Our response is to help and strengthen our army every day! It’s symbolic that today, the Poroshenko Foundation, together with the NGO “Delo Hromad,” is launching a new program to supply buggies to Ukrainian Armed Forces units,” the fifth President announced on social media .

“This will help deliver ammunition supplies to positions or carry out evacuations. One buggy can carry two fully equipped soldiers or 200 kg of cargo. And they will do this quickly and efficiently, as they have powerful engines and can reach speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour,” Poroshenko explains.

“Yes, the Russians are targeting Ukrainian businesses: today, seven Shahed rockets attacked Roshen warehouses. Fortunately, thanks to all safety regulations being followed, no workers were injured. Despite everything, we haven’t given up. We’re working. We’re doing everything we can to protect Ukrainian soldiers and preserve the country.”
