Poroshenko appealed to Zelensky: the Yermakov region should follow Yermak

Petro Poroshenko addressed President Volodymyr Zelensky with a tough statement: after Andriy Yermak’s resignation, all “Yermakists” must go. He wrote about this on social networks, emphasizing that Ukraine needs real, not sham, unity – unity around the state and European values.

Poroshenko emphasized that “Yermakovshchyna” is pressure on law enforcement agencies, the use of sanctions for raiding, information attacks by anonymous Telegram channels, and a factory of systemic fakes. In his opinion, the country should get rid of not only personalities, but also methods that destroy the state from within.

The opposition leader also stated that the current government, which he called compromised, should go along with Yermak. In his opinion, the state should return to the Constitution and the parliamentary-presidential model of government.

Poroshenko emphasized that there can be only one answer to Zelensky’s call for unity – the formation of a new, high-quality, pro-European coalition. It is this coalition that, in accordance with the Constitution, must form a professional government of national responsibility, capable of holding the country in extremely difficult conditions.
