Poroshenko arrived at the front: he brought drones and equipment, spoke about providing the troops

Petro Poroshenko, during another trip to the front with the help of the Defense Forces brigades, said that the new government must urgently ensure the transition of the Ukrainian economy to a war footing.

“Finally, we are at the front. Like a breath of fresh air. In the Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk direction. Here they work from Orekhov and Gulyai-Pole all the way to Pokrovsk and Mirnograd. What is important for our soldiers today? I asked the new Prime Minister several questions. The first is when will the Ukrainian economy switch to a war footing? Like now, when up to 90% are volunteers and only 10% is provided by the state. This is categorically unacceptable.

“Secondly, the tax that a soldier pays from his income should go to the brigade. The brigades themselves should buy what will help right here and now, what will save Ukrainian land, what will save life and time,” Poroshenko believes.

“Thirdly, immediately intensify cooperation with our partners. And already on Tuesday, as I suggested, there should be an appeal to the US Congress. So that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are filled with weapons of American and NATO production. Because this is what stops the Russian onslaught. This is the most effective. It understands only one language – the language of force. And the best diplomats of Ukraine are the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Poroshenko notes.

“I am convinced of this, the guys are convinced of this, the people of Ukraine are convinced of this. The Armed Forces need justice, attention and support from the state right now,” says Poroshenko.

In the Zaporizhia direction, the leader of “European Solidarity” handed over drones and equipment to the units of unmanned systems.

Our team keeps the needs of the units under control. Cooperation with the 411th separate regiment of unmanned systems “Hawks” began when there were very heavy battles for Pokrovsk. The battalion had a shortage of FPV shocks, we brought them in hundreds,” says Poroshenko.
