Poroshenko brought military equipment to the Kharkiv region – this is his 150th trip to the front

In the Kharkiv region, Petro Poroshenko handed over a large batch of drones and equipment to the soldiers of the 10th Edelweiss General Staff Brigade, the 116th, 53rd, 60th, 115th, 93rd, and 72nd mechanized brigades, the 77th and 81st airmobile brigades, the 509th repair and restoration battalion, the 54th reconnaissance battalion, the 19th army corps, and a military hospital.

This time the trip is an anniversary one – since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the team of the Poroshenko Foundation and the NGO “Sprava Hromad” has traveled the front lines 150 times. As the fifth President says, for him such trips are an opportunity not only to help the military, but also to see friends and comrades.

“What kind of atmosphere do I like the most? Among friends and like-minded people for whom the future of Ukraine is important. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, most of such meetings have taken place at the front. Today we are in the Kharkiv region, and this is the 150th trip in three and a half years,” Poroshenko wrote on social media.

“Last weekend we visited our Tanya Chornovol, who, together with her comrades, is defending the South. Today we came to our Stepan Barna, who is kicking the Russians out of Ukrainian soil,” Poroshenko writes.

Stepan Barna is especially happy about the new armored medevac – there is a critical shortage of them at the front, the soldier says. And this is precious time for saving the wounded.

“Now is a difficult time for logistics on the front line. Especially in terms of evacuating the wounded and delivering provisions to the front line. It is armored vehicles that save the lives of fighters on the front line, including the wounded. We need such vehicles, and we need a lot of them,” Barna inspects a Land Rover equipped for military needs.

Poroshenko brought two armored Land Rovers and a Pinzgauer to the units for a military hospital. The vehicles are also equipped with SHATRO electronic warfare equipment.

The war makes its own adjustments, so not everyone was able to come to the meeting this time.

“We were supposed to meet with Marusya Zvirobia and “Ranot”, but the situation in the Kup’yan region is very difficult. The fighting does not stop, so we need to stay in position to stop the enemy. “Ranot”, Marusya, I convey my greetings, take care of yourself! We will definitely see you next time,” Poroshenko is convinced.

900 FPV drones, some of them on fiber optics, electronic warfare systems for combat vehicles, Starlinks, an excavator, armored recovery vehicles, mobile workshops, and washing and shower complexes – all these are orders from units. And for the 77th separate airmobile brigade, an exclusive was prepared – a mobile barbershop.

“Firstly, they have a real barber in their unit, who not only performs combat missions, but also skillfully works with scissors and a machine. Secondly, you don’t have to spend 800-900 UAH for a haircut and time traveling to the nearest city. A comrade will cut your beard and shorten your bangs nicely. It seems that we managed to fulfill the request of the 77th. They also gave them drones, electronic warfare systems, and a lot of other equipment,” Poroshenko said.

“Wherever we go, we are met by one of our colleagues, friends, and team members. More than 3,000 of our party members are now in the ranks of the Armed Forces. Unfortunately, we also have losses… 112 dead. 14 missing. 5 prisoners. But there is a simple truth: there are no party tickets at the front — all soldiers go into battle under the blue-yellow flag. Although in recent days, Bankova’s telegram channels have been spreading the news that our team is fighting “in the wrong place,” “in the wrong way,” and “with the wrong people.” I call on the authorities: stop touching the military and veterans! We continue to invest in the Ukrainian army, because there is no other way. Now Ukraine needs unity the most,” the fifth President emphasized.
