Poroshenko called for the release of NABU detective Maghamedrasulov from pretrial detention center
Petro Poroshenko, speaking from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, called for the immediate dismissal of NABU detective Ruslan Maghamedrasulov, who worked to expose a corruption group known as “Mindich’s OZU.” He stated that the authorities’ current personnel decisions are insufficient and do not stop the pressure on anti-corruption agencies.
This was reported by the press center of “European Solidarity”.
Poroshenko stressed that the detention of a detective who exposed abuses in power is unacceptable. According to him, all officials who appeared in the scandalous “Mindich-Yermak tapes” must be fired, otherwise he will be forced to publicly name their names.
He emphasized that responsibility should be borne not only by those who were involved in corruption schemes, but also by officials who put pressure on NABU detectives, in particular on Maghamedrasulov himself and his father. Poroshenko also mentioned the systemic pressure on public activists and opposition politicians.
Separately, the party leader called for the dismissal of the head of the State Financial Monitoring Service, Philip Pronin, who, according to him, appears in corruption investigations and blocks NABU’s requests regarding the Energoatom case.
“Pronin – go away!” Poroshenko declared, emphasizing that everyone involved must bear responsibility.
As previously reported, the European Solidarity faction stated that Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko had canceled a planned meeting with deputies.
We will remind you that the conciliation council of the Verkhovna Rada, with the participation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, did not resolve key issues regarding the preparation of the 2026 budget.
