Poroshenko discussed increasing support for our country with the Polish government’s authorized representative for Ukraine, Kowal.
Petro Poroshenko met with Pawel Kowal, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Government’s Commissioner for Ukraine, at the European Solidarity office.
“Many have spoken about Ukraine’s ongoing resistance to the Russian aggressor. Today, more than ever, Ukraine needs the increased support of its allies, providing everything necessary to strengthen our positions both on the battlefield and at the negotiating table,” Poroshenko wrote on social media.

“Special attention was paid to bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland, in particular, the importance of strengthening strategic partnership and properly resolving issues of historical memory,” the fifth President noted.

“I drew attention to the challenges within Ukraine, noting the importance of strengthening democracy and democratic institutions, the rule of law, freedom of speech, and internal political unity as key elements of state stability,” writes Petro Poroshenko.
