Poroshenko discussed strengthening Ukraine’s resilience and air defense with Sikorsky.

Petro Poroshenko met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radosław Sikorski, who is currently in Kyiv.

“We exchanged assessments of the current stage of the war and effective response strategies to Russian aggression. We also discussed the prospects for diplomacy, where the first step should be a comprehensive and unconditional ceasefire,” Poroshenko said on social media .

“We separately discussed strengthening Ukraine’s resilience ahead of winter, in particular, strengthening air defenses and ensuring the necessary number of missiles to protect Ukrainian cities, energy, and critical infrastructure,” the fifth President wrote.

“Special attention was paid to the importance of strengthening democracy, the rule of law, and human rights, especially for a state that is moving towards membership in the European Union,” the party leader noted.
