Petro Poroshenko donated a large shipment of power equipment to the military – two large container battery stations, four 20 kW diesel generators, 118 inverter generators, and 113 charging stations, valued at over 11 million hryvnias.

“Energy today should be in teams and units – where it’s really needed, not in a ‘telethon,’” Poroshenko emphasized on social media.

This equipment was received by units of the Ground Forces, Airborne Assault Forces, Navy, Marines, Artillery, Logistics, and Radiotechnical Units. These are the units who work today in difficult conditions: often without power, but with full responsibility for the results. Because generators and charging stations are the work of drones. They are responsible for electronic warfare and countering hostile UAVs. They are responsible for communications, command, headquarters, reconnaissance, and unit coordination. They are responsible for military medicine – for emergency response centers, evacuation, and rescuing the wounded. This is the army’s ability to fight and save lives,” the fifth president stated.

“I’d like to single out the Navy. It’s through their hands that we achieve key results in defeating the enemy at sea. And to achieve this, they also need autonomy, energy, and stable communications. We’re doing our job. We’re doing what needs to be done during war. Because when the enemy tries to plunge the country into darkness, our duty is to shine a light on those who hold the front,” says Petro Poroshenko.
