Poroshenko donated nine hundred winter tires to the front.
Petro Poroshenko, the fifth president and leader of the European Solidarity party, sent nine hundred winter tires to frontline brigades. Rubber literally burns on military roads, and proper tires are often a matter of life and death, according to military personnel.
“Logistics is like air for our army: we can’t do without it. Its effectiveness determines whether we have weapons, whether ammunition, and food supplies are delivered on time. Logistics, for its part, is impossible without wheels. It might seem like a small thing, but neglecting it means depriving the brigades of the ability to carry out combat missions,” Poroshenko wrote on social media.

“We absolutely cannot allow this to happen, so our team continues to donate wheels to the army, not by the dozens, but by the hundreds and thousands. This time, we donated nine hundred wheels for HMMWV, Ural, and KrAZ trucks, which are most frequently used by soldiers on the front lines. This is enough for 11 units carrying out missions in the most challenging areas of the front. Where the roads are terribly impassable, where the wheels are shredded by the debris constantly falling from the sky,” explains the fifth President.

“No matter how hard the night, day comes after it. Now, helping the army is essential for the survival of both the military and the entire country,” Petro Poroshenko is convinced.
