Poroshenko handed over 1,500 tires and mobile tire repair shops to 24 brigades

Petro Poroshenko handed over 1,500 tires and two tire fitting complexes for 24 brigades of the Defense Forces.

“Today we arrived at the soldiers with another cargo. We brought something without which logistics and any movement of troops is impossible: a container with reliable rubber for KrAZ, URAL and HMMWV trucks – there will be enough for everyone. We are also handing over irreplaceable assistants – two mobile tire repair complexes with RunFlat based on two trailers,” Poroshenko showed.

During the meeting with the military, the fifth President also welcomed the decision of European partners on funding for Ukraine.

“Yesterday, Ukraine’s financing was under big question – due to the fact that some countries blocked access to seized Russian assets worth $320 billion. Today, two European commissioners informed me of the results of the EU Summit: 90 billion euros have been separately allocated for Ukraine for 2026-2027. This means that in the next two years, Ukraine has guaranteed sources of financing, including for the defense sector,” Poroshenko wrote on social networks.

“At the same time, the partners clearly outlined three conditions: the independence of anti-corruption bodies and a real fight against corruption; the rule of law, protection of the rights of the opposition and civil society; continuation of reforms. No one is ready to turn a blind eye to the corrupt actions of the Ukrainian authorities, such as “Minditchgate”, and those involved in them. It is these scandals that have undermined the trust of our partners. From now on, the use of EU funds will be subject to strict and constant audit,” the party leader emphasized.

“But before asking for money from partners, Ukraine must prove its ability to effectively manage its own finances. That is why I submitted amendments to the approved Budget-2026 to the parliament . We are obliged to take 100 billion hryvnias from the propaganda telethon, false telegram channels, inflated salaries of prosecutors and the State Bureau of Investigation, so-called “cashbacks” and other budgetary nonsense. These funds should go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine: increasing the personal income tax for brigades, indexing the monetary support of servicemen and directly strengthening the army,” Poroshenko writes.

“We must restore public trust in the authorities, the front’s trust in the rear, and the partners’ trust in Ukraine. Peace negotiations should be conducted by a professional team, not corrupt ermaks. We want peace, but not capitulation. The Constitution of Ukraine enshrines the course for joining the European Union – and this is a guarantee that we will never return to the Russian empire. Joining NATO is the only real guarantee of our security. The Army must remain the first and undisputed priority of the state,” the party leader is convinced.

“I am proud that our team does not stop the work that we have been doing for 12 years. We continue to help the military, although we manage to do it less only due to the fact that illegal sanctions have been imposed against me. I am the only person in the world against whom both Zelensky’s sanctions and Putin’s sanctions have been imposed at the same time. The Basmanny Court has put me on the wanted list for the “genocide of the Russian people”. In particular, I was accused of the deaths of Zakharchenko, Givi, Motorola, and Dryomov,” the fifth President recalled.

“We know what the army needs. We have done, are doing, and will do everything for it as long as it takes,” Poroshenko summarizes.
