Poroshenko handed over 10 Ai-Petri complexes to the army, which stop Russian Orlans and Lancets
The fifth president and current People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko transferred 10 Ai-Petri technical intelligence countermeasure systems to the troops.
“Russian drones are constantly being improved: new equipment, better optics, updated communication systems. Today, the capital is being attacked not only by “Shaheeds” and missiles, but also by “Lancets,” the fifth President stated.
However, the Ukrainians are not standing still, he emphasized, adding that the Ai-Petri complex is constantly being improved so that more and more enemy drones fall in the fields.
“And I can say: it works 100% on the “Lancets”. On the Ai-Petri front, it protects our military from most types of drones. And most importantly, it prevents reconnaissance UAVs from targeting enemy artillery and ballistics,” Poroshenko wrote on social media.
He transferred ten Ai-Petri complexes to one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which performs important tasks.
“As always, we are transferring a full set: pickup trucks, electronic warfare systems, generators, and EcoFlow — everything necessary for effective work and crew protection,” the fifth President noted.
“I was glad to see you, guys! Let’s continue working so that one day the Ukrainian sky will become clear,” Poroshenko writes.
Since the fall of 2023, Petro Poroshenko has invested more than 200 million hryvnias in the production of unique systems for countering technical intelligence means “Ai-Petri SV”, which have successfully passed tests and are used in the Armed Forces, covering a thousand kilometers of the front line. The state has not allocated funding for this program for a long time. A year ago, Poroshenko announced a contract with the Ministry of Defense.
Russian reconnaissance drones and strike UAVs — “Lancets”, “Zals”, “Orlans” and others — threaten not only our troops, but also critical infrastructure and civilian facilities.
“Ai-Petri” is a cybersecurity that has unique properties, developed by specialists from our team – programmers, engineers. Today, there is nothing like it in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the enemy. And we have established mass production,” Poroshenko previously reported.
In total, since the beginning of the project, the troops have already received more than two and a half hundred installations.
