Poroshenko handed over a batch of Ai-Petri to the troops; the next one will go to defend Kyiv.

The fifth president and leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, handed over seven counter-intelligence systems to units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the fifth President, another 15 systems will be delivered to the capital’s defenders in the coming days.

“Today, we are finally beginning the transfer of Ai-Petri systems this year. Seven units, worth a total of 60,000,000 hryvnias, are being sent to the army. They will now be deployed to the 421st Separate Battalion and one of the centers countering enemy intelligence,” Poroshenko noted on social media.

“While some are stealing money for energy protection, our team is doing everything possible to protect critical infrastructure from enemy attacks. Fifteen Ai-Petri systems will soon be protecting Kyiv’s critical infrastructure. By the end of the month, we plan to transfer them to the units covering the skies above the capital,” the fifth President announced.

“The Ai-Petri PGTR systems are high-tech Ukrainian weapons manufactured from domestically produced components. They can effectively engage both reconnaissance drones and attack ‘shahids.’ And they have already made a splash on the front lines thanks to their effectiveness. Currently, they provide cover for artillery brigades, operations to supply units with ammunition, and the evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield,” Poroshenko writes.

Since the fall of 2023, Petro Poroshenko has invested over 200 million hryvnias in the production of unique Ai-Petri SV countermeasure systems, which have successfully passed trials and are used by the Armed Forces, covering a thousand kilometers of combat contact. For a long time, the state did not allocate funding for this program. In March 2025, Poroshenko announced a contract with the Ministry of Defense .

Each system includes the PDTR system itself, a pickup truck, a charging station, a generator, and the necessary electronics. “This is cybersecurity with unique properties, developed by our team of specialists—programmers and engineers. Neither the Ukrainian Armed Forces nor the enemy has anything like it today. And we’ve established serial production,” Poroshenko previously reported . Since the project’s inception, the troops have already received over two and a half hundred systems.
