Poroshenko handed over five Ai-Petri systems to the military: they will provide cover for soldiers on the front lines.

Petro Poroshenko delivered five more Ai-Petri counter-technical reconnaissance systems to the military. Modern warfare is a war of technology, the fifth President emphasized.

“In recent days, Ukrainian cities have been experiencing record-breaking attacks by Russian ‘shahids’ and ballistic missiles. Drones are difficult to counter. Mobile groups and air defense systems are destroying some of the drones. But half of the ‘shahids’ are being diverted from their targets thanks to electronic warfare and counter-intelligence systems, including the Ai-Petri system. These systems also target reconnaissance UAVs that are adjusting for ballistic missile strikes,” Poroshenko notes.

“Our systems are unique technologies. No one else in the world makes anything like them. The Ai-Petri systems are a true achievement of the Ukrainian defense industry and our team. And today we are handing over five more Ai-Petri systems to people who are skilled in their operation,” Poroshenko wrote on social media.

“These systems are used to support Ground Forces units. They are deployed to the frontline to provide cover for combat formations against attacking enemy unmanned aerial systems,” explains Petro Poroshenko.

He also noted that the government crisis, caused by corruption and incompetence, is harming our defense capability: “The entire country, the entire world, is now witnessing a parliamentary crisis in Ukraine. This isn’t a parliamentary crisis, it’s a government crisis. And the causes are corruption and incompetence. If they fought the way they govern, the situation on the front lines would be much worse,” Petro Poroshenko warned.

“We continue to work and do our job. We strengthen the Armed Forces weekly and help defend Ukraine,” the fifth President writes.

Since the fall of 2023, Petro Poroshenko has invested over 200 million hryvnias in the production of unique Ai-Petri SV countermeasure systems, which have successfully passed trials and are used by the Armed Forces, covering a thousand kilometers of combat contact. For a long time, the state had not allocated funding for this program. A year ago, Poroshenko announced a contract with the Ministry of Defense .

Russian reconnaissance and attack drones—the Lancets, Zaly, Orlan, and others—threaten not only our troops but also critical infrastructure and civilian facilities. “Ai-Petri” is a cybersecurity system with unique properties, developed by our team of specialists—programmers and engineers. “Nothing like it exists today, neither in the Ukrainian Armed Forces nor among the enemy. And we have established serial production,” Poroshenko previously reported . Since the project’s inception, the troops have already received over two and a half hundred systems.
