Poroshenko handed over trucks, ATVs, and electronic warfare systems to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Petro Poroshenko has handed over another batch of ATVs, dome electronic warfare equipment, sawmills and trucks to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Poroshenko Foundation has handed over to the troops fifty different trucks worth 400 million hryvnias. Of these, more than three hundred British DAF Leyland and a hundred more powerful DAF YA.

These vehicles are purchased from military depots in the UK, fully serviced, modernized, and brought back into working order. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, these workhorses have been a lifesaver for front-line logistics, the military says.
The vehicles are adapted to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; at the request of the brigades, volunteers of the NGO “Sprava hromada” can equip them with winches, manipulator cranes, a tail lift for loading, add an awning or a closed kung. Specialized versions of equipment are also manufactured on the basis of DAF trucks – mobile workshops, command posts and other modifications.
“More than a year ago, the authorities imposed illegal and unconstitutional sanctions on me. They are still afraid to come to the Supreme Court and have been disrupting sessions for four months. Due to the blocked accounts, we were faced with the question of what to do with the constant assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine? In order for the funding not to stop, we had to look for a solution. And we found it. If earlier Marina helped me provide for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, now it’s the other way around: I’m helping Marina. We managed to free up some of the accounts, which Marina will now manage. It was with these funds that we purchased another shipment of aid,” the fifth President explained.
This time, the equipment was received by the units of the Territorial Defense, engineers, logistics, SBS, paratroopers, and Support Forces — a total of 12 brigades of different branches of the armed forces.
“Here are 10 ATVs for assaults. And sawmills for the construction of fortifications. And electronic warfare complexes to protect the lives of Ukrainian military personnel. And DAF trucks of various modifications to transport large loads and personnel. We are finding different ways to continuously supply equipment to the Ukrainian military. Because we are talking about high-quality support for the boys and girls who are currently holding the front and need our help,” Petro Poroshenko emphasizes.
By the way, Petro Poroshenko transferred a large batch of equipment and equipment for 15 brigades, regiments and battalions worth UAH 20 million.
