Poroshenko in the Supreme Court: Illegal sanctions against me were paid for with the post of prime minister

Petro Poroshenko, during his speech at the Supreme Court, where his lawsuit regarding the illegal Decree on Sanctions is being considered, stated that the government is entangled in its lies.

As it became known, today during the session of the Verkhovna Rada Yulia Svyrydenko, who was the Minister of Economy and was appointed to the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine, stated that the sanctions were imposed on the basis of the decision of the Interdepartmental Working Group and the data of the State Financial Monitoring Service. Poroshenko, since this violates the law.

Despite the Supreme Court’s decision, government officials have not provided documents, in particular, the minutes of the interdepartmental working group that Yulia Sviridenko announced, and continue to ignore the court’s demands.

“This is evidence of falsification, illegality of sanctions. This is a fundamental contradiction when Pronin says: “I did not direct anything,” and Sviridenko says: “Everything was directed by Pronin.” I want to say that today, in 2025, not once did the Ministry of Economy, much less those who do not have legal laws, initiate sanctions. Except for the Decree, where my name is indicated, because all the times it was the Security Service of Ukraine that initiated them. But in the submission of the Security Service of Ukraine, there is no name of Poroshenko.

“Shmyhal, who signed the sanctions and was 100% the president’s man, has been dismissed. In his place, 1000% “his own” Sviridenko has been appointed. Settlements are underway for the illegal sanctions against Poroshenko. Moreover, the ambassadorial chairs have already run out, and they have moved on to big currency in the form of the Prime Minister’s chair.” legal rights,” the opposition leader was indignant.

Poroshenko also noted that the authorities are trying to delay the trial, but illegal sanctions against the opposition leader are hindering Ukraine’s European integration.

Representatives of 11 diplomatic institutions, journalists from Ukrainian and foreign media, public activists, people’s deputies and war veterans were present at the court hearing.

The next court hearing will take place on July 23 at 11:00.

Let us recall that on July 17, the next session of the Cassation Chamber of the Supreme Court began on Petro Poroshenko’s claim regarding illegal sanctions .
