Poroshenko in top three: poll reveals who Ukrainians are ready to vote for in the elections
If presidential elections in Ukraine were held soon, Volodymyr Zelenskyy would receive 29% of the vote, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy 21%, and Petro Poroshenko would come in third with 9.6%. Poroshenko’s European Solidarity party leads the parliamentary polls, ahead of the political forces of Zaluzhnyy and Zelenskyy.
These are the results of a nationwide survey conducted October 6-12, published by the publication “Business Capital.” The study was conducted by the sociological firm “New Image Marketing Group”: 1,200 respondents participated, and the stated margin of error does not exceed 2.9%.
According to the poll, Volodymyr Zelenskyy would receive 29% of the vote in the first round, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy 21%, and Petro Poroshenko 9.6%. According to the study’s author, Poroshenko’s rating has remained virtually unchanged for many months.
5.8% of respondents each supported Mykhailo Fedorov, Andriy Beletsky, and Kyrylo Budanov. Another 5.1% would vote for Oleksiy Honcharenko, and 4.7% for Dmytro Razumkov.
In a possible second round, Zelensky would have lost to Zaluzhny, but would have outperformed Fedorov and Poroshenko.
European Solidarity leads the parliamentary ratings with 17%. Valeriy Zaluzhny’s party gained 16.1%, while Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s political force gained 15%.
Kyrylo Budanov’s party followed with 9.6%. Batkivshchyna and Azov each received 6.7%, while Dmytro Razumkov’s political force received 5.1%.
Oleksiy Honcharenko’s party gained 4.6%, approaching the threshold. Only 2.6% of respondents said they would vote for the Third Assault Party. Serhiy Prytula’s party received 1.6%. Denisenko attributes this increase primarily to the rise of Mykhailo Fedorov’s party (which received 5%).
