Poroshenko on the next Government Action Program: old lies are being covered up with new ones

The fifth president and current People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko harshly criticized the Government’s Action Program, which the Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, on social media, calling it “powerful, unbreakable, and stupid.”

The Fifth President noted that the government has not been accountable for its previous promises for years, instead feeding Ukrainians new ones.

“Where is our country heading? To the European Union. Please tell me, should the European Parliament Resolution on opening the gates for Ukraine to the EU be taken into account in the Government Program? You will not find any mention of it. Because the Resolution is about democracy, human rights, and strengthening defense capabilities. You will not find any reference to the Resolution,” Poroshenko noted.

“Before each program, there should be a report on the previous ones. You will find answers there, but where are the billion trees? Where are the million gigawatts of electricity? No,” Poroshenko stated.

“Another lie from another set of ‘new old’ ministers who have been fooling people for seven years, thinking that they won’t have to account for it. I think that’s a mistake,” Poroshenko said.

“So, my advice: keep your fists crossed for the meeting between Zelensky and Trump. And don’t read the Government Action Program. There’s nothing there. Once again, they’re trying to deceive you,” the leader of Eurosolidarity summed up.
