Poroshenko showed what the house destroyed by six Shahedas near Kyiv looks like: the world should know the truth about Russia’s atrocities

Petro Poroshenko visited the scene of the tragedy in the Kyiv region, where on the night of August 8, Russian “Shaheeds” destroyed the house of the Kucher family. The attack killed three family members, including four-year-old Dmytryk, and four more people were injured and burned.

Petro Poroshenko announced this on social networks.

He said Russian forces targeted the house with six strike drones. Within minutes, the house the family had spent ten years building was reduced to rubble.

Four-year-old Dmytryk and his grandparents were killed in the attack. The boy’s father, Oleksandr Kucher, tried to pull his child from the rubble until the very end. His wife and eldest son are currently in the hospital with multiple burns.

Oleksandr Kucher is a serviceman, a fighter of the 321st battalion, with whom Poroshenko’s team has been cooperating for a long time and helping the unit.

Poroshenko said that he met with the soldier directly at the ruins of his family home.

“Shock, pain, grief, tears – everything covers me at the same time when I approach Oleksandr Kucher in the ruins of his family home. He is a very strong man, a soldier, a fighter of the 321st battalion, with whom we have a long history of effective cooperation. And he is holding himself very courageously and with dignity. But you wouldn’t wish this on anyone,” Poroshenko wrote.

Oleksandr Kucher himself wants the whole world to know about his family’s tragedy and the crimes of Russian troops. He also demands that the perpetrators be identified and punished, and that it be clarified why six Russian drones, one after the other, hit a single residential building in the middle of a settlement.

Poroshenko emphasized that the Kucher family spent ten years building their home, and the Russian attack destroyed it in one minute.

The Fifth President also announced that the Poroshenko Foundation will help the family rebuild the destroyed house.

“Oleksandr, we are always there and will do everything to ensure that the world learns the truth,” Poroshenko wrote.
