Poroshenko spoke about Ukraine’s future with a new quality economy.

Ukraine has the potential to surprise the world and become a modern economy with a new quality – one that is free from corruption, environmentally friendly, and has developed artificial intelligence and defense technologies.

Petro Poroshenko said this.

“We must build a new economy, a new country, a new science, a new intellect. And this means that democracy, anti-corruption, and everything else are key to the economy. We cannot build an economy without the first ‘m’—moral,” Poroshenko emphasized.

“Second, modern means contemporary. There’s no return to the old metallurgy, chemical, titanium, environmentally harmful industries. This is Ukraine’s advantage. Don’t turn back, don’t move forward with your head turned, you’ll surely fall,” he said.

“The third most unexpected thing: mystery—miracle. Ukraine is capable of surprising the world. We must surprise it. Why? We’ve already done it. We did it in 2014. We did it from 2014 to 2019 with reforms and building the army. We’ve done it now by building the defense industry, including through the contributions of our team,” noted the fifth President of Ukraine.

“The areas are artificial intelligence, rare earth metals, semiconductors, processing industry, and only then the defense industry, where we already have achievements,” Poroshenko stated the priorities for economic development.

“What do we need for this? The return of talented Ukrainians. Not through extradition, not through demands that Ukrainians stop receiving payments, but through creating favorable conditions within the country. And that means democracy, that means an independent judiciary. We know what to do. We’re proposing new approaches,” he said.
