Poroshenko to attend National Congress of People’s Party of Spain and Conference on Restoration of Ukraine in Rome

On July 4–6, 2025, the leader of the European Solidarity party, fifth President Petro Poroshenko, will take part in the National Congress of the People’s Party of Spain in Madrid at the invitation of the Chairman of the party, Alberto Nunezo Feijóo.

In Madrid, Poroshenko planned a series of bilateral meetings with Spanish partners of European Solidarity and representatives of other political forces from EU countries that are part of the European People’s Party to advance Ukraine’s national interests and strengthen international unity and solidarity with our country.

This year’s congress will be an important event in the domestic political life of Spain and an effective platform for discussing the strategic challenges facing the United Europe, especially in the context of Russian aggression against Ukraine. The leader of the People’s Party of Spain, Nunezo Feijóo, is one of the potential candidates for the post of Prime Minister of the country.

Petro Poroshenko is also invited to the fourth Ukraine Reconstruction Conference in Rome (URC2025) on July 10-11, 2025. The conference will bring together Ukraine’s leading international partners, representatives of governments, financial institutions, business and civil society for a coordinated vision of the post-war reconstruction of our state.

A balanced representation of Ukraine in the Reconstruction Conference with the participation of both government and opposition representatives is extremely important for supporting our state and creating conditions for attracting foreign investment.
