Port, fuel depot and airfield: large-scale fires broke out in Kerch after the attack

This was reported by the monitoring Telegram channel “Crimean Wind” with reference to satellite data.

According to the resource, the fire was recorded in the territory of the 5th warehouse of the Kerch Sea Commercial Port. The nearby fuel and lubricants base and the Sklo electrical substation were also probably damaged. Separately, there is a report of a fire at the airfield where Russian air defense assets are deployed.

Local residents reported that drones, gunfire, and explosions could be heard in Kerch after midnight. One of the powerful explosions, according to eyewitnesses, occurred at around 03:54 in the Yaponka district, near the site of one of the fires.

At the same time, the so-called “governor” of Sevastopol, Mykhailo Razvozhaev, and the occupied Crimean Ministry of Emergencies announced an air alert twice during the night. In addition, traffic on the Crimean Bridge was blocked from 01:07 to 04:45.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that during the night, air defense forces allegedly destroyed 295 drones over the territory of occupied Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.

It was previously reported that drones attacked Ryazan, Russia, on the morning of July 29. After a series of explosions, large-scale fires broke out at at least two facilities – an oil refinery and a Wildberries sorting complex.

In addition, on the night of July 28, temporarily occupied Crimea was also attacked by drones. According to the occupation authorities, energy infrastructure facilities in the east of the peninsula were hit, leaving some settlements without electricity.
