Power outage on July 1: where and when the schedules will be in effect

Tomorrow, July 1, all regions of Ukraine will introduce hourly power outages for the population, as well as power restrictions for industry and business. The reason was a sharp increase in electricity consumption due to hot weather.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

According to the company, the restrictions will be in effect from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

At this time, power limitation schedules will be applied for industrial enterprises and businesses. At the same time, hourly outage schedules will be introduced for residential consumers in one turn.

Ukrenergo explained that the need for restrictions arose due to a significant increase in the load on the power system due to hot weather.

Energy experts emphasized that the situation in the power system may change, so Ukrainians are advised to monitor messages from distribution system operators in their regions and consume electricity economically.
