On Wednesday, October 21, hourly power outages will be introduced in some regions of Ukraine. The restrictions will be in effect from 06:00 until the end of the day, and their volume will be from one to two shifts.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
Hourly outage schedules will apply to all categories of consumers from 06:00 to 23:59. During the same period, capacity limitation schedules will apply to industrial enterprises.
The outages were caused by the consequences of massive Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
Ukrenergo warns that the situation in the power system may change due to Russian shelling. Therefore, Ukrainians are advised to check the current schedules on the official pages of the regional energy companies in their regions.
Energy experts also urge people to use electricity sparingly when the lights come on on schedule.
