On Friday, October 9, some regions of Ukraine will be experiencing 24-hour power outages. The restrictions are being imposed due to the consequences of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
According to the company, from 00:00 to 23:59, hourly power outage schedules of 0.5 to 2 shifts will be applied in some regions.
Also, capacity limitation schedules for industrial enterprises and businesses will be in effect throughout the day.
Ukrenergo explained that the restrictions are related to damage to energy facilities due to Russian missile and drone strikes.
At the same time, energy experts warn that the situation in the power system may change. Therefore, Ukrainians are advised to follow the messages of local regional energy companies to find out the current outage schedules.
In addition, Ukrenergo urged people to use electricity sparingly when the power comes on according to schedule.
