Power outages in four regions due to Russian attacks

Following new Russian attacks, as of the morning of August 21, consumers in four regions of Ukraine remain without electricity.

This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

New outages have been recorded in Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions. Energy workers are already repairing damaged networks where the security situation allows. They are trying to restore power to people as soon as possible.

At the same time, electricity consumption is increasing due to hot weather. As of 9:30 on August 21, it was 9.4% higher than the previous day.

Ukrenergo advises to postpone the use of powerful electrical appliances to the period from 10:00 to 17:00, when industrial solar power plants produce the most electricity.

Instead, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, consumers are urged not to turn on powerful appliances without urgent need.
