As of the morning of March 13, consumers in six regions of Ukraine have been left without power due to Russian attacks.
This was reported by the press service of NPC Ukrenergo.
“Due to hostile attacks on energy infrastructure, there are new power outages in the Sumy, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions this morning,” the post says.
It is noted that energy workers are already working to restore power supply where it is safe to do so, and are doing everything possible to restore power as soon as possible.
Due to the consequences of previous massive strikes, capacity restrictions for industrial enterprises are possible in all regions from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and hourly outages for other categories of consumers are possible from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
As of 9:30 a.m. Friday, electricity consumption is consistent with the previous day’s figures. Ukrenergo advises postponing the use of powerful appliances to the time of maximum operation of solar power plants – from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and not turning on several such appliances at once during hourly outages.
