Power outages recorded in nine regions of Ukraine – Ukrenergo

As of the morning of July 30, power outages were recorded in nine regions of Ukraine due to bad weather.

“Due to adverse weather conditions (thunderstorm, gusts of wind) – by morning 156 settlements in nine regions were completely or partially de-energized. Regional power company repair crews are working to eliminate damage to the lines. The healing of all subscribers is predicted by the end of the current day, but restoration work is in progress.

At the same time, electricity consumption remains high. And the daily maximum consumption yesterday was 4.3% higher than the maximum of the previous day – Monday, July 28. The reason for this is the hot weather in all regions of Ukraine.

“The need for economical energy consumption remains. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances during the period of maximum consumption in the evening – from 18:00 to 22:00,” the energy specialists ask.
