As of the morning of July 29, power outages due to bad weather were recorded in seven regions.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
It is reported that due to adverse weather conditions (thunderstorm, strong gusts of wind) – by morning 477 settlements in seven regions were completely or partially without power.
“Repair teams of the regional power company are already working to restore the damaged lines. The healing of all subscribers is predicted by the end of the day,” Ukrenergo reported.
At the same time, electricity consumption is showing an upward trend – this morning it was 4.7% higher than at the same time the previous day – Monday.
“The reason is the heat in most regions of Ukraine and cloudy weather in the western regions of the country, which leads to low efficiency of household solar power plants,” the report says.
The daily maximum consumption, recorded yesterday evening, also increased by 2.6%.
“The need for economical energy consumption remains. Please use powerful electrical appliances rationally and do not turn on several such devices at the same time before 22:00,” the power engineers urged.
