Powerful explosion destroys powder factory in Russia: there are casualties

A powerful explosion occurred at the Elastic plant in the Ryazan region of the Russian Federation, which serves the defense-industrial complex and produces explosives, gunpowder, and ammunition. The incident occurred in the gunpowder workshop, which was completely destroyed.
This is reported by Russian media.
According to unconfirmed reports, at least three people have died and about 20 people have been injured. However, local Telegram channels are reporting that the number of victims has already reached five, and several people may remain trapped under the rubble.
As a reminder, on Thursday, August 14, Ukrainian military forces struck the Olya seaport in the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation. This facility is used by the Russians as a logistics hub for the supply of military equipment and ammunition from Iran.
