Powerful explosions rocked the airfield in the Rostov region: what is known

On the night of August 8, a drone attack was recorded in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. According to local residents, explosions were heard in several areas of the region.

This is reported by Russian media.

It is noted that the northern part of the region was hit by drones. Eyewitnesses claim that one of the targets was located near a military airfield.

This morning, acting governor Yuriy Slyusar confirmed information about attempted drone attacks in Millerovo and Chortkivskyi districts. According to him, the strikes were repelled, but in Millerovo, a fuel tanker caught fire as a result of the attack.

As a reminder, the forces of the “Ghost” special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine launched a series of pinpoint strikes on Russian military targets – a landing craft, at least three radar stations, and an air defense base in Crimea were hit.

As reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of targeted strikes on important facilities on Russian territory, causing significant damage to the infrastructure supporting the aggression against Ukraine.
