In the Chernihiv region, the situation in the power system has worsened; despite the restrictions imposed, the networks remain overloaded.
This was reported by JSC “Chernihivoblenergo”.
“The capacity is not enough to simultaneously provide electricity to even the small number of consumers that we have foreseen in the Hourly Outage Schedule (HWS),” the company explained.
To prevent 100% of the region’s subscribers from losing power, additional outages have to be introduced. This means that the time without power will increase for everyone. In addition, those consumers who are not included in the hourly outage schedule will also be disconnected.
ChernihivOblenergo emphasized that the outages will be alternating so that all consumers have at least a minimum amount of light for primary household needs.
It is noted that energy workers are working around the clock to restore power supply facilities damaged by the Russians.
“We continue to work, hoping for the best, but always preparing for the worst!” – summarizes the company.
As a reminder, the Russian army struck the energy infrastructure of the city of Slavutych, damaging a 330 kV substation.
As is known, Russian strikes on energy facilities in the Chernihiv region caused a network failure , leaving 307,000 consumers without electricity.
