Ukraine may host the Invictus Games in 2029. They will be organized by Britain’s Prince Harry.

The Daily Express writes about this.

As journalists write, the sports competition for veterans, founded by Prince Harry, has received applications from six countries, including Ukraine, to host the tournament in 2029.

In particular, journalists note that other cities and regions that have submitted proposals include: Aalborg in Denmark, the Veneto region in Italy, Abuja in Nigeria, Daejeon in South Korea and San Diego in the United States.

Despite what organisers say are “current complex geopolitical challenges”, Ukraine has reportedly put forward a “compelling” bid to host the games in its capital, Kyiv.

The Invictus Games are an international Paralympic-style sporting competition founded by Harry, Duke of Sussex, in 2014 for wounded service personnel and veterans.
