PrivatBank experienced a major technical failure: customers are unable to pay with their cards.

On Saturday, August 15, a major technical outage affected several PrivatBank services. Customers across Ukraine are reporting problems with card payments and cash withdrawals.

PrivatBank reported this.

The bank noted that specialists are already working to fix the problems, but did not specify which services were affected, what caused the outage, or when service would be fully restored.

Since early this morning, shoppers across the country have been complaining about being unable to pay with cards due to payment terminals in stores.

Difficulties with cash withdrawals also arise. In some cases, payments fail or are processed only after several attempts.

Additionally, customers report situations where money is debited from the card, but the payment is not credited to the merchant.
