PrivatBank Medal of the Kyiv Invincibility Marathon 2025 Presented in Kyiv
The presentation of the medal and the official T-shirt of the 15th anniversary PrivatBank Kiev Marathon of Invincibility 2025 took place in Kiev.
The closed event took place in the PUMA store, a sports partner of the Kyiv Marathon – the Main Marathon of the country.
Run Ukraine General Manager Dmytro Chernitsky , who currently serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told how it all began 15 years ago: “The war is in its fourth year, and now, unfortunately, I am not directly involved in organizing events, but I thank my Run Ukraine team, which continues this path. When we started this story 15 years ago, we simply had an idea for Kiev to have its own marathon and its own running community. And I am glad that the people with whom we started are here today. It is very important for such events to happen .”
The presentation was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian running community, including professional athletes Nikolai Nizhnik and Olga Nizhnik , Ukrainian record holder and “Running Beard” Sergey Preskornik , “Charter” press officer Vladimir Degtyarev , triathlete and running coach Anna Abdulov , and representatives of running clubs.
“I want to thank the community, because you are the foundation of what we do and for whom we do it all. It’s cool that today the running communities in Ukraine and Kyiv are so different: some are more about fashion, some are more about lifestyle and recreation, some are more about sports, about hard, and you can find what is interesting and important to you. And we all together are the foundation of the running culture.
I also want to thank all our partners and sponsors, because without them, nothing would have happened. Today, partners have integrated into sports and are building their advertising campaigns not in alcohol, but in running. And this means that our running culture is breaking through, it is seen and heard ,” said Dmitry Chernitsky .
The CEO of Run Ukraine also noted that running is accessible to everyone, so everyone can join and become part of the country’s Main Marathon.
“I like running because it is accessible to everyone of any age, no matter where you are or what you do. Everyone can run, so I invite everyone to the Main Marathon of the country. I believe that this marathon will be an important event, and when we win, when we can hold events in the city center, this is the most powerful marathon in Europe!
We will be proud of this marathon, proud of our country, which is going through such a difficult path today. Therefore, remember, thanks to whom we have the opportunity to hold such events today. Appreciate what we have, appreciate each other and Glory to Ukraine!” – said Dmitry Chernitsky.
The style of the PrivatBank Kyiv Invincibility Marathon jubilee is based on the works of Georgy Narbut, the creator of the 1917 “Ukrainian Alphabet”, the illustrator of Kotlyarevsky’s “Aeneid”, the creator of the first Ukrainian money. He drew inspiration from traditional Ukrainian painting, ancient Ukrainian heraldry, manuscripts and early printed publications.
At the PrivatBank Kyiv Invincibility Marathon, each finisher will receive a medal, which will be made in the shape of a triangle – part of a large panel, a large ornament, symbolizing the Invincibility of Ukrainians.
This medal symbolizes the resilience of Ukrainians and is decorated with the Pattern of Invincibility, which is created by runners on the track.
The style of the medals, official T-shirts and all the visuals convey the main idea: running is an art. It is discipline, will and constant and regular self-improvement. Searching for strength within and transforming your own emotions and experiences – for the sake of living.
The Kyiv Marathon medal will also be the final element for the participants of the 2025 Invincibility League from Run Ukraine. Runners who complete all three races of the League: the Invincibility Ten. Kyiv 2025, the Kyiv Invincibility Half Marathon 2025 and the PrivatBank Kyiv Invincibility Marathon 2025, will also receive a League finisher medal at the finish line of the marathon. All four medals are made up like a puzzle and create the Heorhiy Narbut flower – a symbol of invincibility and freedom.
Official PrivatBank T-shirts of the Kyiv Invincibility Marathon 2025 and PUMA sneakers were raffled off among the guests of the event, and all guests could also take part in a no-lose lottery from PUMA.
PrivatBank Kyiv Marathon of Invincibility 2025 will be held on October 11-12, 2025 on Trukhanov Island in Kyiv. The event route is certified by the international association World Athletics.
50% of the proceeds from the race will go to the needs of the Special Operations Forces (SOF).
