Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak confirmed that his apartment is being searched by detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and prosecutors of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP).

“Today, NABU and SAPO are indeed conducting procedural actions at my house. The investigators have no obstacles. They were given full access to the apartment,” Yermak said in a comment to the media.

He also noted that his lawyers are on site, interacting with law enforcement officers and monitoring the legality of the investigative actions. “From my side, I provide full assistance,” the head of the OP emphasized.

Journalists at the scene report that about ten NABU and SAPO officers are working in the government quarter. Information about the purpose of the searches has not yet been disclosed.

Representatives of the NABU and SAPO have not yet commented on the progress of the investigative actions, but Ukrainska Pravda notes that employees of the bureau and the prosecutor’s office are present at the scene, and the process is proceeding as usual.
