Production of “Shaheeds” and training of operators: Russia prepares North Korea for war

Russia is helping North Korea launch the production of attack drones and training their operators.

This was stated by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko.

According to him, the DPRK has already launched the production of attack drones of the “Shahed”/”Geran” models, which was confirmed by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“Russian specialists are working in Pyongyang and near the Kalma airfield in the city of Wonsan, where they train pilots of unmanned aerial vehicles. This applies to both FPV attack drones and other combat UAVs,” Kovalenko added.

As reported, North Korea is actively preparing to expand military cooperation with Russia, having begun construction of the largest weapons production plant in its history.

Recall that North Korea may send additional troops to Russia to participate in a new offensive in July or August.

In addition, North Korea will send six thousand of its citizens to Russia , who will supposedly “restore” the Kursk region.
