American and European military experts have developed several strategic options for supporting Ukraine, which are currently being considered by senior leadership. The ideas relate to both air defense and possible troop deployments.

This was reported by Reuters, citing the American military.

One option is to create a no-fly zone over Ukraine. This would include the supply of American air defense systems, as well as airspace patrols by US fighter jets. This approach would provide a significant increase in protection against aerial threats.

Another alternative is to bring European troops directly into Ukraine. This option assumes that operational command can remain under US control, which would ensure coordination of the alliance’s actions and the preservation of a single line of deterrence.

These plans reflect a common desire to protect Ukraine from further aggression, create a reliable barrier, and ensure the effectiveness of defense solutions in the event of an escalation of the situation.

Recall that the United States plans to take on only a “minimal” role in providing security guarantees to Ukraine.

As reported, US President Donald Trump said that it will become clear within the next two weeks whether peace can be achieved in Ukraine . If this does not happen, he warned of the possibility of finding “another approach” to resolving the war.
