Protests in Khmelnytskyi over student mobilization: CCC explains the situation

In Khmelnytskyi, people gathered near the CCC building because of the mobilization of a 25-year-old student. The participants of the rally claim that the guy came only to update his military registration data, but he was not released. The military registration and enlistment office assures that they acted legally.

According to information from social networks, this is a full-time student at Kamianets-Podilskyi University. Because of his mobilization, people gathered under the walls of the Trade Center.

The military registration and enlistment office explained that the man came himself after receiving a summons. According to the “Oberig” registry, he was subject to mobilization, since at that time he did not have a formal deferment or reservation.

Before being drafted, the man passed a military medical commission, which found him fit for service. On October 7, he was mobilized and sent to a military unit.

The CCC called the reports of illegal mobilization manipulative and emphasized that they acted within the law.
