Pryluky attacked with rockets: people are being searched under the rubble of a high-rise building
Russian occupation forces launched a missile strike on Pryluky, Chernihiv region, on the morning of October 7. One of the missiles hit a five-story residential building, trapping people under the rubble. Two people were previously killed and seven others were injured.
This was reported by the Pryluky City Council, the head of the Chernihiv Oblast Police Department, Vyacheslav Chaus, and the Chernihiv Oblast police.
“One of the hits was just a residential high-rise building. In the morning, when people were still sleeping. Preliminary information is already available about the dead and injured. Now all services are involved, the rubble is being cleared,” Chaus said.
According to police, at around 6:00 a.m., Russian forces launched a series of missile strikes on Pryluky. The strikes were recorded not only on a residential building, but also on the Center for Children and Youth Creativity and one of the enterprises.
Rescuers, medics, police, and other emergency services are working at the scene of the attacks. The search for survivors and the clearing of rubble are ongoing.
As of 8:20 a.m., two people were reported dead and seven injured. The details of the consequences of the attack are being clarified.
