Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has said he is ready to end the war on the terms outlined in June 2024.

His words are reported by Russian media.

“If Kyiv believes that now is not the time for negotiations, Moscow is ready to wait,” the Russian dictator said.

He also emphasized that the Russian government is “legitimate,” unlike the Ukrainian one.

“I am ready to end the war on the terms that existed in June 2024,” Putin said.

It is worth noting that under these conditions, Ukraine has:

  • completely withdraw troops from the territory of the so-called “DPR”, “LPR”, and from the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions;
  • promise not to join NATO;
  • to introduce a neutral, non-aligned, non-nuclear status.

The Russian dictator also advocated for achieving long-term peace in Ukraine, which would not have any temporary restrictions.

At the same time, Putin announced that the Russian Federation had mass-produced the Oreshnik ballistic missile for the first time. This statement contradicts the dictator’s “peaceful” messages.

Earlier, the Trump administration held talks with Russian officials to find ways to end the war in Ukraine. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the dialogue did not produce any tangible results .

It is worth noting that US President Donald Trump wants to agree to an end to Russia’s war against Ukraine by August 8.
