On Friday, August 8, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
This was reported by the South China Morning Post.
As noted, the conversation took place on the eve of Putin’s likely meeting with US President Donald Trump.
In particular, during the call, the leaders discussed the recent meeting between representatives of the United States and Russia.
In turn, the Chinese president stated that China welcomes the continuation of dialogue between the Russian and American sides, while emphasizing the need for progress towards resolving the war in Ukraine.
In addition, according to Russian propaganda media, Putin called the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as the self-proclaimed president of Belarus.
Earlier, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping , in which the leaders discussed geopolitical conflicts and international summits.
As a reminder, US President Donald Trump and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin may meet as early as next week to discuss a potential peace agreement regarding the war in Ukraine.
