Putin’s visit will last May 19-20. It comes a few days after Xi Jinping met with US President Donald Trump in Beijing.
The day before, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that during the talks the parties would discuss bilateral relations, as well as global and regional issues of mutual interest to Moscow and Beijing.
It is worth recalling that Xi Jinping and Donald Trump met in Beijing on May 15. After the talks, the Chinese side separately emphasized the need for diplomatic dialogue to resolve international conflicts.
