Putin is ready to meet with Zelensky not in Moscow – Fico

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy not in Moscow, where he previously proposed holding talks.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico.
It is noted that Putin said this during a meeting with a Slovak official, while Volodymyr Zelensky also confirmed to Fico his readiness for negotiations with the Russian leader.
“President Zelensky’s meeting with President Putin will not bring much political benefit at home, and the citizens of the Russian Federation will certainly not be thrilled with President Putin’s meeting with President Zelensky,” the Prime Minister noted.
He added that, despite the political damage, both leaders supposedly understand that they need to meet and discuss ending the war in Ukraine.
As a reminder, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga called Putin’s proposal to organize talks in Moscow unacceptable . According to him, at least seven countries are already ready to host such a meeting.
At the same time, it is known that Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian dictator Putin is deliberately making “unacceptable” proposals for negotiations , offering a meeting in Moscow.
As reported, US President Donald Trump is not sure whether a bilateral meeting between Zelensky and Putin at the leadership level will take place .
By the way, Donald Trump wants Zelensky and Putin to first hold a personal meeting . Only after that is he ready to join the trilateral format of negotiations.
