US President Donald Trump, during a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders, stated that the Russian dictator’s plans for Donbas remained unchanged.

The publication’s sources note that Putin, as before, is demanding that Ukraine cede the entire territory of Donbas, despite Zelenskyy repeatedly pointing out the impossibility of this.
In turn, the Russian Federation will stop advancing in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, effectively freezing the line of combat contact.
As the interlocutors added, Trump told the leaders that he was ready to provide security guarantees to Ukraine on the condition that it did not involve NATO, hinting that Putin would not agree to this.
Recall, US President Donald Trump and European leaders discussed security guarantees for Ukraine in the format of NATO’s Article 5.
By the way, EU leaders issued a joint statement after Trump’s meeting with Putin , which took place on August 15 in Alaska. They welcomed the White House’s initiatives for a peaceful resolution of the war.
