The meeting between US Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded at the Mar-a-Lago private residence in Florida. Following the meeting, a final press conference was held. Here are the key points.

In particular, Donald Trump noted the following:

There are one or two remaining issues in the peace negotiations. 95% of the issues have been discussed.

The Donbass issue has not yet been resolved, I think it will be resolved.

The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant can be restarted very quickly and is in “good condition”.

I’d like to make a deal and not necessarily go (to Ukraine). But if it helps save 25,000 lives a month, I’d definitely be willing to do it.

Putin truly wants peace… He was very sincere in his feelings about Ukraine’s success. Russia is ready to help rebuild Ukraine.

Putin did not agree to a ceasefire to unblock the referendum.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy made the following statements:

The 20-point peace plan has been 90% agreed upon, and security guarantees have been 100% agreed upon.

I agreed to meet with European leaders and Trump in Washington in January. Ukraine is ready for peace.

We talked about a referendum, we can use it for the (peace) plan or the parliament will vote for it.

I hope that we will have a decision regarding all documents in January.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that security guarantees for Ukraine and territorial issues would be key topics during his planned meeting with US President Donald Trump .
