Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has stated that Russia will respond to Ukrainian attacks on its territory with “mirror” actions, which he says will be several times more powerful.
He said this during the “Everything for Victory” forum, organized by the People’s Front, TASS reports.
According to the head of the Kremlin, Ukraine “will feel” the consequences of Russia’s response on a growing scale.
“The enemy will experience this on an ever-increasing scale,” Putin said.
At the same time, he acknowledged that the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ strikes on Russian territory had created certain difficulties with the supply of petroleum products. However, he said the situation seemed to be gradually stabilizing.
Separately, Putin announced that Russia is working on a new fuel supply system for temporarily occupied Crimea. He asserted that this would make it less vulnerable to Ukrainian attacks.
“It will be very difficult for the enemy to reach it,” the Kremlin leader said.
It should be added that Russia has introduced a complete ban on the export of diesel fuel and plans to begin importing petroleum products in July.
It was previously reported that on the night of July 8, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck several strategic targets in Russia , including two oil refineries, six tankers belonging to the shadow fleet, a military airfield, and transport bridges. The Omsk Oil Refinery also shut down following the Ukrainian drone attack .
