Putin’s “confidant” Timati received suspicion from the SBU for supporting aggression against Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine reported suspicions in absentia to Russian rapper and propagandist Timati.

This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

The security service reported the suspicion to Russian singer and propagandist Timur Yunusov.

“According to the case materials, Yunusov is one of the participants in Russian propaganda, who was Putin’s confidant in the presidential elections of 2012, 2018, and 2024, participated in his inauguration and in events celebrating the victory in the “elections,” the SBU said in a statement.

It is noted that singer Timati supported Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the annexation of Crimea, and the violation of Ukraine’s rights to independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

“It is documented that this person took part in at least 7 propaganda concerts on the temporarily occupied peninsula, which were aimed at legitimizing the occupation of Crimea,” the SBU said.

Based on the collected evidence, Timur Yunusov was notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 332-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – repeated violation of the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine with the aim of causing harm to state interests.

Previously , the SBU documented new crimes of sanctioned Russian propagandist Dmitry Kiselyov and informed him in absentia of additional suspicion .
