Putin’s economy is bursting at the seams: Russia has a catastrophic labor shortage
Russia is experiencing an acute labor shortage in many sectors of the economy.
This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
“Such a problem is recorded in industry, the agricultural sector, energy, etc. But construction suffers the most from the shortage of personnel. According to forecasts by Russian experts, in 5-7 years there will simply be no one to build in the Russian Federation,” the post says.
The Center also noted that “the full-scale invasion of Ukraine led to a significant outflow of labor to participate in the war and work at defense enterprises, which sharply exacerbated the problem of personnel shortages in many industries. In construction, the shortage of people is felt most acutely – even despite the unprecedented market decline, reduction in construction volumes, mass bankruptcies of developers, and job cuts.”
As the Center for Countering Disinformation adds, “all attempts by ru-propaganda and personally by Russian President Vladimir Putin to reassure Russians with tales of “unprecedented growth” of the Russian economy are in vain, because it is impossible to hide the reality. Every day of continuing the aggressive war brings the Russian economy closer to a deep crisis.”
Let us remind you that, despite the statements of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin about the West’s attempts to bury the Russian Federation and that they “will soon die themselves”, in reality the situation in the aggressor country’s economy is quite difficult and will become more difficult over time, but one should not expect a quick collapse of Russia.
As reported, the head of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, stated that Russia has exhausted the resources that allowed the economy to demonstrate growth for two consecutive years in conditions of war and sanctions.
In addition, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (FIS) reports that Russian companies are massively losing their assets abroad amid international sanctions, nationalization, and the breakdown of cooperation with foreign partners.
